What we collect
We may collect your name, phone number, email address, booking details, event date and location, guest numbers, package choices, preferences, messages you send us, Quotes, Invoices, payment records and other information needed to organise your experience.
Our website may also collect ordinary technical information needed for security and operation, such as browser information, IP address and session data. We don’t want information we don’t need.
Why we use it
We mainly use your information to respond to you, check availability, prepare your Quote, manage your booking, record payments, send Invoices and Receipts, prepare your experience, provide customer support, keep appropriate business records and protect the security of our website.
We don’t collect booking information just to build advertising profiles about you.
Who may receive your information
Sometimes we need help from companies that provide things like hosting, email delivery, payment processing, storage or other business services. We may also need to share limited booking information with a venue or supplier where that is genuinely necessary to deliver your experience.
We’ll only share what is reasonably needed for the job. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Where your information may be processed
Some technology providers we use may process or store information outside Barbados. Where that happens, we’ll take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that appropriately protect your information.
How long we keep information
We don’t keep everything forever. Booking and financial records may need to be retained for accounting, legal or dispute-resolution purposes. Temporary security and session information usually has a much shorter life.
We’ll maintain a sensible internal retention schedule for the different kinds of data we hold.
Keeping information secure
We use measures such as protected Admin access, named staff accounts, authentication safeguards, secure sessions, access controls, backups and protected customer documents.
No internet system is completely risk-free, but protecting customer information is part of how we operate Dome — not an afterthought.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, Barbados data-protection law may give you rights to ask what information we hold about you, receive a copy, correct inaccurate information, ask for certain information to be deleted or restricted, object to some uses of your data, or raise a complaint.
To make a privacy request, email info@dome-experience.com. We may need to verify your identity before releasing personal information.
Children
Our booking service is designed for adults. If information about a child is genuinely needed for an event, we’ll only ask for what is reasonably necessary.
Marketing
We won’t treat ordinary booking emails as permission to send you unrelated marketing forever. If we introduce promotional email later, we’ll give you an appropriate way to opt out.
Photos
Booking an experience is not automatic permission for us to use identifiable photos of you for advertising. We’ll ask separately where permission is needed.
Automated availability checks
Our system helps us spot date conflicts, shortages and other availability issues. It does not automatically reject you because a conflict exists. A booking that needs adjustment is sent for review so we can work through the options with you.
Privacy concerns
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first so we can investigate. You may also have the right to raise the matter with the Barbados Data Protection Commission.
